LAND USE PLANNING EXPERIENCE Tuolumne County Planning Department 1978 through 1987 Assistant Planning Director since 1980. Trained and supervised 13 person staff of Planners, Draftsmen, and Secretaries. California Environmental Quality Act reviews for all County projects. Presented Planning recommendations to Planning Commission. After adoption of the 1980 General Plan implemented rezoning of entire County. President, Tuolumne County Management Association, 1981-83 Land Division Ordinance Coordinated complete re-write, a 4 year project involving five development departments and a citizen committee of surveyors and developers. Adopted 1987 County Wildlife Project Conceived and coordinated, working with a committee of developers, wildlife experts and officials to set policy limits. Habitat types were mapped on all private lands and mapping was integrated into a step-by-step analysis to determine acceptable impacts of each development project on wildlife. Adopted 1987 EDUCATION Bachelor of Arts Degree University of California, Santa Cruz, 1975, in Environmental Studies. Taught environmental education in 1977 for Upward Bound in Yosemite, and in 1976 for Hidden Villa Farm, Los Altos. AA degree from Merced College. Graduate courses in Land Use Planning at San Jose State.
